Diaz & Ass.; Monday [03/13].
While some Ass.es might take something like a call about missing cookies from a cookie jar with a modicum of seriousness (even if just out of boredom), Rosa certainly had no problems with just hanging up on the lady calling about the pie she set on her windowsill to cool down having disappeared.
"Maybe don't put your pie on a window sill," she offered, which would have been helpful if she hadn't already hung up on the person, so that was mostly to herself, as she picked up the pie from her desk, brandished a fork, leaned back in her chair and kicked her feet up before digging in. "Sucks to be you."
(It was, in fact, not the missing pie in question; Rosa had picked up one of favorites from the Flatbush Diner that weekend while she was home for a family thing, but it was kind of a weird coincidence, wasn't it?)
