The Magpie Emporium; Friday [03/17].
Graham had not been privy to all the various other positions in which the plushies in the shop had been doing battle that week, but they had, in fact, moved yet again, their struggle as epic and evident as ever, but Graham himself, alas, did not have much time to appreciate it, as he (with a jaunty new green feather added to his cap) was making good on his promise of a little jellybean pow-wow with Leroy from his broadcast earlier.
"So, anyway," he was telling Leroy, dutifully separating out some of the rum jellybeans for the squirrel and some popcorn flavored ones for him and some motor oil flavored ones for Little Bot and some tuna flavored ones for Saffron to ignore, "she's a redhead," a knowing look and maybe even a bit of a wink, "her name is Amber, and she's one of my best squirrelfriends from back home, I think you'll really like her, I hear she even has some connections to the Royal Family of Avalon, but she likes to keep that a little on the downlow because she doesn't really like to put on airs. Now, obviously, I can't really suggest you guys be penpals, because squirrels in my world don't know how to write, but...Llewdor is lovely this time of year, and when is the last time you've had a vacation, anyway?"
Leroy opened his mouth to say something, but Graham cut him off with a little bit of a chuckle. "School trips," he said, giving him another knowing look, "don't count! You guys work really hard on those things! I think maybe a real vacation could do you some good. Maybe get out there, see different parts of the multiverse, meet some new people. Meet some new squirrels...."
Leroy didn't really look convinced yet, but that was fine. Graham had plenty of jellybeans.

Mod your Shopping - 03/17.
Shop with Graham - 03/17.
Re: Shop with Graham - 03/17.
“Hi, I’ve brought the snacks for tonight,” he smiled, unaware that he was potentially interrupting a squirrel therapy session.
Re: Shop with Graham - 03/17.
Then he leaned in toward Leroy with a small smile. "You work on those jellybeans, buddy," he said, "look over that Llewdor travel brochure, and you let me know what you think, I'm going to go talk to Guillermo for a bit."
Leroy gave him a withering look and murmured something around putting another jellybean into his mouth, and Graham gave him that withering look right back.
"I am not rubbing it in," he insisted, and Leroy chittered something back, and Graham almost responded somewhat angrily, but stopped himself, because he knew that Leroy's comments were only coming from a place of hurt. "Well," he said instead, "you just think about it, okay?"
With that done, he moved around the counter to meet Guillermo and help with the containers as usual, giving him an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that," he said, cocking his head back toward the counter. "Leroy's had a bit of a week."
Re: Shop with Graham - 03/17.
Well, it was mostly because Guillermo only listened to Graham's radio session and that was why he was a little bit lost on what was happening.
Re: Shop with Graham - 03/17.
"Classic tale of unrequited love," he explained. "He's been carrying a torch for a while, but the woman of his affections is only interested in igniting her flame elsewhere. I'm trying to introduce him to some of my nice squirrelfriends from back home, but it's been a pretty hard sell, he's got it pretty bad, but I think the jellybeans are helping."

He chuckled a little at his own joke, before adding, "But I think that would be great! Maybe you could do a nice nut bread, or something? Ooh! Or a rum cake! Just...."
He hesitated, before leaning forward to whisper conspiratorially, importantly. "Nothing with jello," he advised, then winked, and pulled away again.
"I was also going to share some of your churros and empanadas," he revealed. "I know they always make me feel better."
Re: Shop with Graham - 03/17.
He smiled at the last part, “I did make extra containers for you,” he told Graham shyly, “there’s plenty to share,”
Re: Shop with Graham - 03/17.
And where was that piano music coming from?
"Meep meep mee mee--"
Enjoy Danny Boy, at least until Beaker bursts into tears at the finale!
Re: Shop with Graham - 03/17.
And Graham was going to enjoy it, thank you! He was going to enjoy it a lot, giving Leroy a little nudge and a look that seemed to say see? There are so many great things out there other than moping all day about some girl who's just not that into you, and when Beaker finished, he applauded enthusiastically, calling out, "Beautiful! Fantastic! Encore, encore!"
He would have whistled and cheered, too, but it felt like that would have been a bit much for the tone of the song.
Re: Shop with Graham - 03/17.
Now Beaker had a violin (From where? Who cares!) and was breaking into "Drunken Sailor."

"Thanks for coming in clutch with the backup there," he told her, leaning in with a bit of a stage whisper. "It might take some time, but I think he's really getting there!"

Graham's Table: Pre-Game Chatter - 03/17.
And also socializing with your fellow players and obviously spending way too much time getting distracted by memes and stuff before actually getting around to playing the game. You gotta get it out of your system now, to not be so distracted!

They could go with the vegetables if you really wanted them to, as well, probably, but why would you want them to?

And then she settled back in her chair, looking terribly pleased with herself over that one.
