Luke's Diner; Tuesday [03/21].
There was, of course, some discourse going on at Luke's that day, between the staff, and Ignis continued to no doubt win the staff over with his middling over the finest of culinary details. And he realized that this might not exactly make him very popular with his new coworkers, but at least they'd have learned something when they worked with him.
"Well, it's just that it's much more of a ficelle," Ignis had offered, conclusively, "than a baguette, really..."
Even if that something was simply that Ignis was absolutely that person. Sure, sure, he could have just not said anything about it and just let it slide, but then it would be bothering him pretty much the entire rest of his day.
Today's Specials
Jambon Beurre sandwich on freshbaguette ficelle
French Onion soup
Chocolate croissant bread pudding
Luke's is open! And pedantic.

Not that Watts was a betting man, but perhaps Ignis was.
“A sandwich,” he decided finally. “With peppers and tomatoes… cucumbers, perhaps some lettuce.., ” he mused. “And that bread pudding.”

He scribbled down a mental list in his head of the sandwich, grinning faintly at the end. "That bread pudding," he assured Watts, "is an excellent choice. Any preference with your bread? The ficelle is quite good, but it does make for quite the slim sandwich."

"The sourdough it is, then," he noted, "and may it meet your expectations. Any dressings? And something to drink?"

And returned a moment later, sandwich in one hand, bread pudding in the other, and followed them up with the cola a moment later.
"And there you are."

on Tuesdays now. He headed in, figuring he could a least grab a sandwich.no subject
Throwing out the "Can I start you out with something to drink?" en route to use the response to hone in on their position a little better.

Look for Marc that was more words than normal.

And at least one thing was certain whenever anyone came in for coffee on one of Ignis' shifts. It was guaranteed to be good enough for Ignis' own standards, which were substantial.
"Need a moment?" he then asked. "For your order?"

"Watts," Marc said as he grabbed a seat. Watts didn't look like anything was wrong so Marc wasn't going to ask if a switch was needed
He would ask, though, "How's it going?"
