Nancy, who was a diligent listener of the radio -- kind of a basic tenet of being an investigator of anything: follow the local media -- was pretty prepared when she stepped into work this morning. And 'prepared' in this case meant 'peeking into the room with a rifle on her hip, because there was apparently a panther in here.'

And, indeed, there was a panther, though Nancy kind of immediately realized she didn't need to worry -- that panther was practically exuding...Rosa-ness. It even almost seemed to, like, raise an eyebrow at the rifle.

Cool. Okay. The people-into-animals thing was totally a thing here, she got to hang out with a panther today, and she didn't actually need this gun she'd made a point of buying. Which was a nice change of pace, actually!

So, Nancy was going to be spending her day researching this particular Fandom phenomenon, and thinking about what kind of animal she might turn into. (And maybe daydreaming a little about taking that new gun of hers to the range after work.)
