Luke's Diner; Tuesday [04/11].
Even though Gladio hadn't been spending much time in the apartment since this post-flower bout of angry homesickness struck, Ignis was finding it impossible not to be at least somewhat influenced by it, too, even if he wasn't quite so firm on his feeling about it as his comrade was. And that was just it, wasn't it? Gladio was really the only one between the three of them that had anything still tying him inextricably to that world. Prompto, meanwhile, clearly had far more tying him to this one, now, and Ignis?
Well, Ignis rather felt somewhere in the middle. That there wasn't really a whole lot for him in either place.
But he was here now, and he was in a kitchen, and there were far worse places to be. But, inspired a bit all the same, he came in a little early to do a little scouring of the supplies to pull together the specials menu for the day.
Today's Specials
Smothered Baked Salmon
Burly Bean Bowl
Tenebrae-inspired Fruit Tart
Luke's is open!

But when his way over toward the customer did come with a confirmation of which one it was, there was a slight rerouting to snag the coffee pot before he went over.
"Oh, well enough," he answered, honestly enough, as he poured for Marc the presumed coffee. "And yourself?"

Way to jinx things, Marc.
no subject
After all, was it really jinxing it if it was just inevitable, anyway?
"And what are we in the mood for today?"

"Simple enough," he said with a nod. "Any other notes?"

Oh look, there was Watts, helping himself to a seat across from Marc.

Hilarious.

And he didn't even have the power of reading the narrative.
"This is what you two do when you're by yourselves?"
no subject
“Sometimes, yes.”

"He's a bad influence on you. I didn't even know he could be a bad influence."

His statement had been made in complete seriousness, thank you.

"What can we get for you today?"

“The bean bowl,” he said, considering the specials board. “Does that contain meat?”
no subject
In a vain effort to get Noctis to eat more of both.
Gladio dealt with his homesickness in his way, Ignis in his own, as well.

And though for various reasons Watts was not inclined towards feeling homesick for the place he’d come from, there must have been something in the air, because instead of the cola he customarily got with lunch?
“And- sarsaparilla, if you’ve got it.”
