Community Centre Class | Dinosaurs 101 - Wednesday Morning
This week Cutter was back to running the class, “this week we’re going to be covering the therizinosaur ,” he began, “the therizinosaur lived in the late Cretaceous period and was found in Asia and North America, they were also characterised by their small skulls, leaf shaped teeth and they also had extended fingers with very long and robust claws,” he explained before nodding at Connor to continue the lecture.
Connor smiled and nodded as he glanced down at his notes for a minute. "By the mid-1990s, the discovery of new, more complete specimens had confirmed their theropod ancestry. Therizinosaurs are divided into five genera (Beipiaosaurus, Falcarius, Alxasaurus, Erlikosaurus, and Therizinosaurus). Unlike most other theropods, therizinosaurs were most likely herbivorous. It is likely that the transition from carnivory to herbivory occurred early in the evolution of the group. The most primitive therizinosaur species has been described as a transitional species because it shares features of both herbaceous and carnivorous ancestors." Connor finished up his bit and gave a nod back to Cutter with a small smile to go with it.
Cutter returned the smile, “you can finish off your worksheets for the rest of the class and myself and Connor are here if you need any help. I’d also like you to do a final report for class next week and do a report on your favourite dinosaur,”

Re: Talk to the Teachers
He could be interrupted, there was a chance he'd look up long enough to talk.
