Easter had come and gone, and there were brightly colored pastel eggs (not the kind you find) up at the front and marked down, accordingly.

But even so, Irene still had rabbits on the mind, and was spending her shift today researching the very finest in bunny-rabbit care, should it ever become something relevant to her life again.

Call it a hunch. She kind of figured it might, again. (And if not -- better safe than sorry, right?)
