The park- Saturday afternoon

It was hard not to miss all the kids today, or the presence of all the kids, and Rey had some mixed feelings at not having anyone shown up for her. She'd really probably gotten off easy, considering the different ways things could turn out, so she was overall fine with it and was just going about her weekend.

Which meant cutting through the park while running errands today, and wondering if she should take the opportunity to do a little bit of lightsaber work while it was at least relatively quiet here.

Leia hadn't gotten too far from the portal in her explorations yet. There was just so much to see!

But the sun was high in the sky and she was getting hungry. She adjusted her braids--getting some of the sticks out--and marched over to the new person. "Hello."

"Hi," Rey said, turning towards her, and then looking confused, because she sort of recognized that presence.

"I'm Princess Leia Organa," Leia said. "I'm searching for my father and I've gotten a bit turned around."

Yep, there it was. It was just a little dagger to the heart, nothing she couldn't handle.

Rey smiled and crouched down, because she was so little. "I'm Rey. Have you seen him at all yet?"

Leia shook her head, biting her lower lip. "I know I'm in the right place, but I don't actually know what he looks like. Do you know him?"

It seemed like a pretty small island.

Rey paused, and realized she wasn't actually sure on the timeline of things. "Do you know his name?"

[skycrawlers]

Leia nodded. "Anakin Skywalker. I figured out who Obi-Wan Kenobi spent the most time with."

She was still trying to figure out her mother's name, and Bail was being very evasive.

"Ahh. I do know him," she said. "You know Obi-wan?"

Leia nodded her head. "We're friends," she said, barely hiding her glee about that.

"Oh, are you?" Rey grinned. "I've never met him-" Technically, outside of the weekend he was her offscreen dad. "-but I hear he's wonderful."

Marshan had been going to find her mom, but then there was another Force signature, and it felt interesting, and it wasn't like Mom was going anywhere, right?

So here, Rey, have a curious little Force-sensitive Chiss girl peeking at you curiously.

There were three ginger children with Stark (one of them blue) who would be very impressed by lightsaber work. Right now they were very impressed by their frappucinos with lots of whipped cream though that they were carrying with them from their recent stop at the Perk where Stark had met possibly his most impossible child yet.

"Rey!" He grinned at her and waved. Rey wasn't going to spring any unexpected children on him. He was sure of that. Although he would have been willing to swear to it that Anakin wouldn't have, either.

Rey could tell that someone else was around, but rather than calling out and maybe scaring them, she peeked back at her with a little wave.

"Hi, Stark," she greeted him. "You look.... busy."

[stykera]

"I'm...having an interesting day," Stark said after a moment. "And a busy one, yes. How are you? Your day is...quiet?"

Please tell him you weren't going to add to his growing brood, Rey.

[skycrawlers]

Leia nodded her head very hard to assure Rey that yes, yes he was. "He rescued me from a tiny kidnapping. I could've gotten myself out of it, of course, but he promised my dad he'd help."

So cute. Why so cute.

"That was very kind of him," Rey said. "I have no doubt you could have managed."

[thatwaslucky]

"Very quiet," Rey said. "Though I've been meeting people. Such as...?"

She nodded to the kids.

Marshan grinned back and ran over. "Hi! Are you a Messenger or a Knight or a Jedi or a Sith? Or something else?"

[somethingwithglowing]

"Cass," the non-blue girl said. "And that's my brother Bixby." She pointed her drink at the boy with the floppy red hair. "Smith."

"I'm Ziya," the little blue girl said. "I'm not a Smith. My Mama's Zhaan, not Summer."

Sit with that for a moment, Rey. Soak it in.

"I'm a Jedi," Rey told her. "Those were so many choices you just gave me."

On these weekends, nothing surprised her.

"It's very nice to meet you all," Rey told them. "I see you have drinks."

That was the part she was raising an eyebrow about. So much sugar.

"They ordered for themselves," Stark said. "And for me."

Clearly all his children as everything was indeed very sugary.

"I was a little distracted. Talking to Anakin and...another child."

[thatwaslucky]

"Which one?" There were so many children.

[stykera]

"His name is Saber," Stark said.

It was not his actual name but it was he decided he was going to be called because he was a teenager who wanted to be cooler than his dads.

"He's Anakin's. And...mine?"

Stark sounded almost as confused by that as he felt.
