JGoB, Sunday Morning
Stark had 4 children (that he knew of) this weekend. Three of them, along with one of their mothers, were accompanying him to the bakery this morning.
They were his, after all. They loved baked goods.
"You can all have one thing," he told them, setting them loose at the counter.
"I want a chocolate cupcake, please," Ziya said immediately, pointing to one that looked to be more frosting than cake.
"Got anything with flies?" Cass asked, smiling innocently.
"Or bees?" Bixby added, grinning at the person behind the counter.
"We could have gone to the park if you wanted bugs," Stark said with a soft sigh. It was followed by a smile though, and a glance over at Summer to see if she was amused as well.
[Open bakery is very open for Stark, Summer, half-glowy children, and baked good needs!]

"Also," she added, helpfully, to Bixby specifically, "honey is just pretty much just bee puke, so...."
Summer, why were you encouraging this?
no subject
She wasn't touching that bee puke comment, Summer.

And he knew Stark well enough by now to work out where he was likely to be.
"This is a special occasion," he told Zach as they headed in. "I'm pretty sure your appa back home doesn't let you get cupcakes for breakfast very often either."

"Oh! It's Dad! HI DAD HI!"
Now there was a small child in an astronaut costume jumping and down and waving at Stark.
And there was a Stark giving Travis a very, very surprised look.
"Hello?"
no subject
"Stark, this is Zach. Our son."
He wasn't even trying not to sound smug right now.

Look at that, he'd actually remembered to leave off the 'Mr.' Progress!

"Watts," he greeted in return. "Any of these rugrats yours this year?"

a lightly-moddedSteven had noticed Stark and Summer and the gaggle of kids already in there, and so had decided sure, why not?Settling at a table with vegan pastries for himself and Steven while Francis and Evie hummed and hawed over what to get (it was a very important decision) over at the counter, Watts gave Stark a nod hello.

Yes, he was silently hoping the redheaded little boy wasn't also one of his. He had 5 already this weekend!
"Good morning, Watts."

Given that they had to improvise sleeping arrangements in the guest/Marc's room. Luckily Marc had already put all of his dangerous items out of reach back when he thought Llewellyn might be sleeping there. (It wasn't that Marc didn't trust Llewellyn to understand danger, more that he knew Llewellyn had a habit of grabbing and fiddling with things without paying attention to what they were. Last thing anyone needed was Llewellyn losing a finger to Lana's gifted vibroknife.)

"I thought so," he agreed. The children had woken up earlier than Watts and Steven had once again, but at least this morning they hadn't tried to feed themselves, just found a channel with cartoons on the television and had sat with Raphael between them.

"They have biscuits too," she said. "I like biscuits."
no subject
"Dads said we get one thing each," Francis reminded her. "I think I want that," he pointed at some sort of strudel pastry with a fruit filling. "But maaaaybe also that?" he indicated a cupcake.
no subject
And a biscuit. And a donut.

This was a very little girl so Ziya offered her best very friendly wave.

So, you know, feel free to be reassured there, Ziya, in case you needed closure.

But when he walked in, he sort of blinked a little bit, because, whoa, there were...a lotta little kids in here, huh? Like, he was used to little kids, he had three younger siblings (and probably a lot more) on the way, but Vette, Nina, and Lucian were known entities.

"Hello," he said, waving a little.

"What would you like?" she asked.
Marshan grinned and pointed at something with as much chocolate as she could find. "That!"
Lana was rather wishing she had a whisky, but coffee would do. "Coffee and two of those, please."
