Miguel came in. He squinted. He took his sunglasses off. "Okay, did Duke forget to pay the power bill?"
"It's Earth Day!" the busboy informed him. "We're lowering our energy use!"
"Okay, but the customers might want to see what they're eating. Can we compromise on turning them down and keeping them on?"
The busboy sighed, but went to do that, so Miguel counted it a win.
Today's specials:
Tuna salad sandwich with side salad
Mixed green salad with goat cheese, walnuts, and apple
No-bake chocolate cookies
Luke's was open!
