The Photo Hut; Monday [05/01].
So, the thing with the werebeasts was over, graduation had come and gone, and the weekend had passed, leading into the week before the start of the summer session, which should, from experience and general knowledge of how these things went, meant they were entering into a quiet week, and therefor Prompto should have been able to relax by now.
But he'd discovered that these things hit a whole lot different when you had a little precious child to protect, and even though it was, theoretically, over, those intense feelings were still lingering and making him feel antsy, and wondering if maybe he should have handled it differently, despite the fact that they'd been safe all weekend, and he'd made sure of it. It made him wonder if somewhere like Fandom really was the best place to raise a kid, a family, and ohgod, what would he have have done, if something had happened??
He told himself that going down to the shop to work today was a good idea. He needed the distraction; he couldn't stop thinking about these things, was back on his no-sleep bullshit, and was just generally not having a good time with any of this. Maybe he just needed to be reminded of all the mundane normalcy of life outside> of the weird Fandom stuff, but it was really hard to focus on any of that, especially when all he wanted to do was start researching up nice, quiet, safe communities for raising families, with little to no instances of werebeasts or other invasions...

“Hi are we interrupting?” she asked softly as she held tightly onto Noctra.

And that's how you knew his was officially in Grown-Up Dad Family Man Land, his first thought went right to insurance claim photos.

But now that Liz was close, he was going to hop onto something much nicer, by leaning over to greet her with a light kiss.
"Hi."
And then a little wiggle of his fingers over Noctra's belly. "And hi to you, too!"

Noctra let out a happy gurgle as his fingers went over her belly, “would you like to hold her?” she offered.

So much so that there was a sigh of relief when the transfer occurred with little more than few gurgles and other random sounds.
"So, how was everything this morning?"

“Everything went pretty well this morning,” she said as she waggled her fingers at Noctra while she got comfortable, “we had a nice feed, she was very well behaved this morning,” she said fondly as Noctra cooed quite contently.

He honestly could probably use the nap, but, seeing as how the last couple days went in the sleep department, he doubted he'd actually be able to.

Or a terrible idea.
Guess they'd find out later!

Which wasn't true, but Prompto liked to think it was.
"What kind of seasonal thing do you think they're doing right now? Or just whatever is really nice and sweet. Like a mocha. Ooh, no, hazelnut mocha!"
Whoa, there, big guy, slow down with that kind of crazy excess!

Prompto blinked, shook his head, realizing he'd sort of half-dozed off there, and laughed it off a little.
"Man," he said, adjusting Noctra a little as she fussed a bit, "what a week, huh? Glad things'll be back to normal for a little while."
