The Perk, Thursday afternoon

After getting his traditional "May the Fourth be with you!" comm call from Ben (and how that man kept track of what day it was in Fandom was a mystery for the ages) and then catching him on up Fandom's ridiculousness and life for Ben, Ender, and the kids out in Ender's galaxy, Anakin needed to grab some lunch.

After taking a picture of what was left of Luke's and sending it to his mother-in-law with a "Fandom strikes again" caption, he settled in at the Perk with a coffee, some kind of panini, and today's Wordle. He would 100 percent be looking for hints if he got past the four guess because he was, still, the galaxy's worst ethics teacher.

Was he really the worst ethics teacher in the whole galaxy? Had someone done a study?

Stark had taken his suit in for repairs and now he needed coffee. Or a sandwich. Or both.

"Hello, Anakin," he said, nodding before heading to the counter to order some vaguely coffee- flavored sugary drink.

Anakin smiled. "Stark. No longer a raccoon, I see."

"No," Stark said firmly, hoping Anakin wasn't getting any ideas for the summer.

"Back to myself and very happy to be that way. I preferred being a koala."

[sith_happened]

"That's a sentence you don't hear often," Anakin teased.

[stykera]

"Maybe only here," Stark said. "I've had enough of raccoons for one lifetime, thank you. Although at least I wasn't turned rainbow this time."

Anakin.

"You looked amazing," Anakin said dryly.

[stykera]

"So you've said."

Stark remained unconvinced.

"I prefer looking like myself."

[sith_happened]

Anakin gave him an assessing once-over. "Eh," he concluded, smirking. "It's okay."

Your loss, Anakin.

"Some version of you must have liked the way I look if we were meant to have a son."

The sullenest of sons.

"That was something else," Anakin said, shaking his head and grinning.

[stykera]

"It was...something," Stark agreed. "I've had unlikely children show up before. But that may have been the most unlikely of all."

Was it though, Stark? Really?

[sith_happened]

"He definitely didn't want to be here," Anakin said.

[stykera]

"He didn't," Stark agreed. "The others were all happy enough. Were...did you have other visitors?"

Lana had some work to do for the Alliance today, mostly reviewing the budget, and she was definitely going to need some coffee for that. So here she was with her data pad and a metaphorical red pen, ordering a sweet coffee.

"Master Skywalker," she greeted him. "Good to see you."

Anakin nodded. "Lana. No longer teaching Jedi philosophy, I trust."

[unusual_sith]

Lana laughed. "No, thankfully, although it was interesting to try teaching. I got to choose my own class next term, so in the spirit of summer workshops, I'll be taking people to visit our galaxy. What about you?"

[sith_happened]

"I will not be visiting our galaxy," Anakin replied dryly. "I will be providing the weekly team building activities again."

Sure, let's call them team building.

"I thought Jedi didn't approve of torture," Lana said drily. "Is there anything you'd like me to bring back for you?"

[sith_happened]

"It's not torture," Anakin scoffed. "It's mud and slight discomfort."

[unusual_sith]

"Oh, I didn't mean the mud," Lana answered cheerfully. "I meant the shirts."

[sith_happened]

"Hilarious," Anakin deadpanned.

[unusual_sith]

"If you'd like, I could supply some robes for everyone," Lana offered.

There would be so many spiky shoulder pads.

[sith_happened]

"So they could take them off immediately before starting the challenges?" Anakin replied, arching an eyebrow. "How would you know what group you belong to?"

[unusual_sith]

"Different colors?" Lana suggested. "They don't only come in black and brown, you know. Or different silhouettes, perhaps. Large shoulders versus ridiculous headbands."

Look, she never claimed they'd be good, just differently awful.

[sith_happened]

"They're still going to take them off," Anakin said. "Moving in robes takes years of practice."

And the Force, to make them ripple.
