The Perk- Friday Morning
It had been almost a week. A week since he and Cutter had come back to Fandom. A week since they had made it back home. A week since they had had their argument. A week since they had broken up. And Connor was still trying to process it all.
He was still angry and hurt and confused, that wasn't likely to change any time soon. And just as constant was the annoying fact that he did still care about Cutter and he was worried about him. Connor hadn't seen him since their awkward run in at the bar the other day- not that he had really gone out of his way to try and run into him or anything. But he was worried Cutter was slipping into his normal response and just shutting down and refusing to deal with things.
So, Connor was sitting at his usual table by the window, an extra large extra sugary drink beside him. He was scrolling through his phone with his good hand as he scrolled through the pages he was reading. With a couple of taps, he had finally finished placing in the to-go order for the Chinese place on the mainland he and Cutter liked. Only the food wasn't going to his flat, it was going across the hall to Cutter. While he didn't want to see Cutter and couldn't bring himself to call him or anything, Connor couldn't deny the fact that he did still care about him and wanted to make sure he was ok.
Connor stared at the phone for a moment when he had finished as he took a drink.
The Perk is of course open and Connor is totally distractable!
