The Magpie Emporium; Friday [05/19].

Turns out? That adorable cat game that Graham had read about on the radio was even more adorable and even more precious than he could have ever imagined, and, just as he said on radio, he practically made a beeline for it the moment he came in for his shift.

It was kind of disappointing, though, that Saffron wasn't nearly as good at playing it as you'd imagine a cat would be, for a game about cats, and eventually, after booping all the cats off the bed and then trying to replace them before realizing that the makeshift bed gameplay board was not nearly as comfortable as one might thing, stalked off to go back to ignoring Graham entirely or favoring cleaning her paws in all the sunspots.

Which was fine, Graham was just going to keep playing by himself. He grew up playing a lot of board games by himself, really. He was very good at it.

That game of Boop between Graham and himself is getting pretty intense, after all.

Maybe Boop a few of his cats while you're at it! Come oooon, you know you want to!

Guillermo was continuing on with homemade pizza theme from class with a cheese and bacon pizza.

And this week he was definitely inspired by the floor is lava class this week with his surprising win and he had made a chocolate lava cake.

This was on top of his usual several containers of empanadas and churros that he made, “hi,” he said brightly, “I have the snacks ready for tonight,”

"Guillermo! Hey!" Graham looked up from booping a cat off the bed with a bright grin, setting the piece down and abandoning the game against himself to bounce over to help with the food...

....and taking a big, deep breath when he was near enough. "Zoooounds," he gushed, "this smells amazing, Guillermo! I mean, it always does, but this is great! Also, I didn't get s chance to congratulate you yet on your eeeeepppiiiic Lava win yesterday! That was amazing!"

Guillermo went bright red at that, "th...thank you," he stammered, grateful as always for help with the food, "I've never won anything before, I was definitely not expecting that yesterday, I made a lava cake for it," he added shyly.

"Did you make it out of real lava?" asked Graham with a laugh. "Or jello lava?"

Guillermo grinned at that, “no, I just used melted chocolate,” he admitted, tilting his head a bit, “but now I’m thinking I should have used jello, I might have to remember that for next time,”

"Sorry I was such a failure in class this week, but falling in the jello early let me watch everyone else and that was a lot of fun!" Charlie said, in lieu of hello.

"Riiiight?" said Graham, eagerly, and with a laugh of appreciation that Charlie could understand. "I'm almost a little bummed to have made it as far as I did last time! I missed so many great falls!"

"Some of them were epic," Charlie said. "And Professor Rogers? It always makes me want to go tell Tony."

Grab some friends, grab a game, grab some time in the awesome game lounge!

Bring in your snacks! Bring in your dice! Bring in your getting distracted by catching up with friends and/or internet memes before actually getting to any gameplay!

Jo arrived with her usual boxes of sweets and chocolates, looking forward to the game that evening, "hello," she smiled brightly as she arrived.

Vi had brought drinks tonight. The brightly coloured ones full of caffeine and sugar. Nothing could possibly go wrong there.

"Where we left off last week," Graham narrated, as it was time to get going on the game once more, "we were settled for camp and Libby was taking the first watch. However, something was stirring in the night! Something...mysterious....something, perchance, spooky? There's only one way to find out. Madame Geist, I do believe the floor." here, he bowed his head a little, with a little inviting gesture of his hand, "is yours, as there certainly is one member of the party in rather restless spirits this evening."

Belle nodded. "Perhaps there's a ghost of an idea forming for Madame Geist."

She grinned over at Graham before turning her attention to Libby.

"Esthrana, perhaps I could join you on your watch so that we might speak privately?"
