The Magpie Emporium; Friday [06/02].

Graham had, in fact, managed to score himself some rainbow cheesecake on his way from the radio station to the Magpie Emporium, and he was very impressed with all the decorating that Steph had done, and so now, he was spending most of his time between taking nibbles of said cheese cake and hunched over some minatures, where he was sewing up little capes and cloaks in all the various different colors and flags to start putting on all the miniatures.

Maybe he should be doing something like stocking or cleaning or other work related things, buuuuuuuuut.....this...kiiiiind of counted, right? Look at how cunning they all looked in their new cloaks and capes!

"Oooh," said Graham, clearly struck by inspiration and to no one but himself, really, "maybe I should make them rainbow hats, too!"

The Magpie Emporium is open!

Graham is clearly very deep into sewing together tiny, tiny capes, cloaks, and hats, so feel free to browse at your leisure!

He is, of course, also very interruptable and should probably be taking frequent breaks from such detailed work, anyway.

Guillermo had decided to stay with the e chocolate theme this week and try making chocolate rolls but he had mostly managed to reign it in with his the cooking this week.

There were still the usual several containers of churros and empanadas.

“Hi,” he smiled brightly, “I have the snacks for tonight,”

Graham, his tongue poised in the corner of his mouth in concentration as he attempts to fit the tiniest little beanie onto a paladin miniature with a set of tweezers, looked up at the sound of someone coming in, blinked a few times to get his eyes to focus on something that wasn't just the tiny work in front of him, and then slowly processed what they were seeing.

"Oh! Guillermo!" He grinned, all but dropping the tweezers and the miniature and the tiny hat on the counter as he pushed away and straightened up. "Hi! Here! Let me help you!"

Because of course he had to go over and assist with the transportation of the sacred snacks!

"How it going today?"

Guillermo grinned, always grateful for the assistance of carrying the sacred snack.

“I’m pretty good thank you,” he said, now that the load of containers was easier to carry, “I tried a new chocolate recipe today so I hope it turned out okay,” he added, “how about you? How has your day been?”

"Guillermo," said Graham, with a faintly scolding tone and a withering look over his shoulder as he went over to the counter to put his containers down, but there was a fond grin on his face, "they always turn out okay. Better than okay, even! All your food turns out great! And I've been pretty good, too! Just get a load of how awesome it looks in here! Steph really went above and beyond, huh? There wasn't much I could add, though, so I'm giving all the minis little cloaks and capes and hats, see?"

He picked up a figuring of three-headed hydra. "And I gave these guys all little tiny bowties!"

Guillermo smiled as he had a proper look round, “it really does look fantastic in here,” he said and his smile widened as he looked at the cloak and hat on the hydra, “and wow, these are amazing,” he told him, his smile widening.

"My fingers kind of hurt from making them," Graham admitted, a little sheepishly, as he set the containers down just in time to free his hand to rub the back of his neck a little. "It's very detailed work, but it's been a while since I really sewed anything, so it was fun to do it again!"

Come play some games! With friends, enemies, lovers, or just by yourself!

Will there be more rainbow snacks to be had at the table? Only time and everyone's subsequent (and probably late) arrival shall tell!

"When we last left off," Graham said, when it was time to begin the game, "I do believe that Esthrana had ~~totally dropped the ball~~ been on watch, when Madame Geist approached her with something to say, with regards to the bandits that attacked, and what had transpired before that vicious encounter. And so, with that....Esthrana?"

"Oh!" Libby felt a little embarrassed for some reason, as if she had maybe sort of gotten caught up in something else for a little bit there, but she nodded and tried her best to focus in at the task at hand before her now. "Right. Um, so...yeah, Esthrana is clearly honed in on Madame Geist, her eyes just wide with interest and excitement. 'Yes?' she asks, all excited and everything. 'What is it? Please tell me! What happened before we arrived?"

My brain is just not having it today.
