If anyone needed any particular proof that Turtle & Canary really did sell mostly anything, they didn't have to look much further than the display that Shunsui had walked into when he came into work that morning afternoon...
Were you looking for a nice, sleek, shiny VCR? Because, oh, boy, did they have them, front and center in a meticulously crafted display (complete with a box TV at the center playing whatever video had been popped in at any given time) for National VCR Day! There were even VHS storage compartments and towers for all the VHS tapes also available, as well as some thematic t-shirts, as well.
All of this attention to nostalgic detail was completely lost on Shunsui, of course, so he was just going to take Apu's word for it that this was all very cool, and maybe Shunsui should get a nice VCR for himself. And when Shunsui pointed out that he didn't even have a TV, well...of course Apu had him covered there, too!
