A sign had been posted outside of Pixie Dust that morning, by mysterious means, because Boc certainly didn't put it out there. Boc didn't even know it was there, but it proudly proclaimed that they were running a special on last minute alterations and adjustments for semi-formal wear in light of this gala tomorrow.
A gala that Boc himself only knew about because he'd gotten another appointment for an adjustment for a suit for Stark from Summer, an encounter he was still rather recovering from, because there had been insistence that he should go, which he'd eventually agreed to just to get rid of her.
Whether or not he actually would was still uncertain. He was still sort of doing a cost-analysis on what would be worse: suffering through a social event as a whole or suffering her wrath if he didn't show up.
Sometimes he really did wish he could have just stayed a tree.
