So this was the new layout. Miguel took a look around.

"Huh."

He shrugged and went to make coffee. Look, some things were just more important.

Strawberry brioche French toast
Avocado toast
Bagel with lox and cream cheese


Luke's was open!

Dwight had been meaning to stop by Luke's now that the remodeling was done. So there he was, pausing in the doorway for a moment to admire the new layout.

"Not bad... not bad at all" he said, finally walking in, still taking it all in. "Please tell me the coffee pot is still operational!"

"If it weren't, I'd stage a revolution." Miguel poured Dwight a cup and sent it over to him. "Hey, how've you been?"

"Good to know some things haven't changed" Dowght said with a nod and lift of the cup. "And things are good- summer orders starting to come in so staying busy. How about you?"

Miguel shrugged. "Same as always. Trying to decide if I want to teach next term. You eating today?"

"Yeah let's go with the french toast this morning," Dwight said after considering the specials board for a minute. "And any progress on deciding if there's a class in your future?"

"Not really." Miguel shrugged. "Might just hope for another of Beaker's to take."

[alwaysonguard]

"I hear those can be quite the interesting class when he has them" Dwight said with a somewhat uncertain look.

"Bring popcorn," Miguel recommended. "They're never boring."

[alwaysonguard]

"Popcorn and an updated insurance policy eh?" Dwight retorted.

[what_the_shock]

"Nah, it's the Danger Shop," Miguel said. "Not that that seems to stop Beaker catching on fire, but it never actually hurts him, either."

[alwaysonguard]

"True point.... probably the only insurance policy that would work against him really. I'll have to see if I can hop into another class of his at some point. Would be entertaining if nothing else."

"Let me know how much popcorn to bring."

Dwight's order came up and Miguel brought it over to him. "What do you think of the new look?"
