There was a goose nesting just outside the station. This might explain why Eddie was actually behind the desk and not doing something in the bay.
Geese were scary, okay?
But hey, he could... catch up on a sudoku puzzle today. Or whatever people at desk jobs did. It wasn't boring at all. Really!
