Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Tuesday [06/27].

There were two new matching art prints up on the wall behind the counter at the forge now, and, in addition to thinking of maybe hitting up Dwight to help her out with a few new wall displays to flank them to display her equally colorful knives and throwing stars, Amaya was thinking she really needed to pay more attention to the Dave and Diane's hobbies and pasttimes, because she'd somehow managed to miss entirely this whole new art phase they were going through.

But even though she had no idea how or when they would have actually made these prints, she was definitely proud enough of her lobsters that she figured they deserved a little more recognition than just being popped up on her fridge.

And it'd been a while since their last armor update, too, so don't mind her as she spent most of her time that day color-tempering some steel for tiny little helmets.

The Forge is open!

"Amaya?" Stark called out as he walked in after his trip to the gym.

Maybe working on something would help clear his head a bit.

Amaya looked up from her tiny little lobster helm in progress. "Well, hey, there, Stark," she said, straightening up with a nod. "What can we do you for today?"

[stykera]

"I missed class week," Stark said. "I thought I might, if it's all right, try and finish up my sword another time? Since I couldn't finish then since I wasn't here."

"I was kind of wondering what might have happened to you," Amaya noted, albeit it, truthfully, only on sort of a surface level, because you never could tell, around here, and she was a big believer in people's business being their own. "But I like that completonist spirit! And I'vr got the two anvils, so whenever you'd like, just swing on by, we'll make some room for you. Today might be good, too, if you're up to it, as I'm only really working on some upgrades to the lobster armor."

She held the helm in progress up for emphadis.

"It would be a shame to leave it undone when I was so close to finishing," Stark said. "There wasn't much left to do. I was just...away last week."

Having a wonderful day and a wonderful week and now he was confused and he was going to hammer some things to feel better.

There was a really good joke in what Stark had said there, and it was a shame that Amaya was not even remotely the person to have seen it.

"I've got it just over there," Amaya said, hitching her thumb toward one of the tables, "and the forge is ready to go if you've got the time. Otherwise, well, I'm here pretty much every day; the forge is almost always open."

Even if it wasn't expressly posted as such, la.

"I've plenty of time today," Stark said. "And I could use something to keep me occupied for a bit."

He headed over to the indicated table then paused. "Do the lobsters wear the helmets?"

"Let me get you the proper tools and safety gear," said Amaya, taking a moment to wipe her hands on her skirt and went to do just that. "And they sure do! They've got full sets of armor, which, I know what you're thinking, you're thinking, 'but Amaya, don't lobsters already come armored?' And the answer is yes, but....these are just enhancement on their natural armor. You can see pictures of them modeling it on the website."

"I'll have to look for that," Stark said as he pulled gloves on. At least now he was protecting his hands even if he'd done some damage to his knuckles at the gym earlier.

"I wonder if Stabby would wear a helmet. Or if he could wear a helmet. Crabs aren't really shaped for that..."
