Eleanor was a little bit distracted and anxious at work that day; she'd talked to her sister earlier that week and plans were made for her to come by over the weekend to see it and catch up with everyone. And while a few months away was hardly the exile that the last eight years had been, and she was only going to be there for a few days, but the last time she'd returned home from school had been such a monumental disaster...

She tried to tell herself that it wasn't like she could make things much worse, but, well...

So she sighed a lot and tried to shake those thoughts out of her head, trying to focus on her work and maybe finding a few things to bring back with her.
