Diaz & Ass.; Monday [07/10].
Rosa had been wholly unaffected by the weekend, really, except on Monday when she came in to check her messages and emails, which had included a few now useless requests along the lines of 'oh no my dead loved one came back from the grave, can you help it seem like I don't exist so they don't bother me?' Sort of like a reverse disappearance investigation, which seemed like an awful lot of work for something that just lasted a few days, anyway, so Rosa was glad she didn't bother checking on work over the weekend, because what a waste of time...
There was, however, one email that had been sent in, that had nothing to do with any of that, from a student at the school, actually, wondering if they provided any crab detective services.
Rosa kind of hated that she kind of had to admit that she was kind of intrigued. She leaned back in her chair for a moment, hand to her chin as she considered this request, and then leaned forward to start to forward the email to her Asses to see if any of them wanted to bite.
As much entertainment as she got out of their bored work search histories, they might actually want something....well, she wouldn't call it productive to do, but at least some thing to actually do.
And then she remembered that they were both pretty much from the stone age, decided not to forward the email to them after all, and just wrote on a Post-It note for each of their desks that said: 'CRAB CASE, IF YOU'RE INTERESTED' with the contact info and brief details (two crabs, cousins to Stabation the Crab @ Fandom Clinic, missing in New York on vacation over Fourth of July weekend) that Libby had left in her email.
Look, she had a case once from a chimpanzee that wound up having a chicken being the guilty party. You took what you could get around here sometimes.
Diaz & Ass. is open!
