The Troopers had abandoned the dinosaur grabbers in favour of whacking each other with colourful plastic tubes.

Watts was fine with it for a while- after all, none of them were trying to come after him. But eventually the noise did get to him and he shut his office door. To, you know, focus on getting all that important Trooper Station related work done.

Sometime in the late afternoon came a text.

Watts took his mobile telephone out from his pocket when he felt it buzz, smiling when he saw who the message was from.

Hello yoh he replied back.

Steven, for his part, smiled at the text version of Llewellyn's handwriting.

How are you? Work going all right?

Steven squinted as he tried to figure out that last word.

Noisy? Why?

Steven admittedly could not figure out what a "coorfuk" tube was. But the point about the noise was still clear so he focused on that.

Steven hadn't actually thought that far. He considered it, then sent back:

greeek? Watts suggested. Sure, they didn’t have a dedicated Greek restaurant on-island, but if none of the less specialised restaurants offered Greek dishes, he could always order delivery from the mainland.
