Eleanor had wanted to help out with a little bit of the residual business that the store had gone through earlier that week, but she was also a little nervous to do too much. Knowing her, she'd probably mess it up in an absurd way that would cause far more harm and trouble than anything else, so she felt like her hands were a bit tied. She might address a package wrong or put the wrong items in an order, or maybe even knock something over when she was trying to put other things on the shelves, and just...

It seemed like it would be better overall for everyone if she just left most of it for Nell to handle, although she felt bad about doing so, like a bad employee, so she was just hoping maybe a lot of customers came through the door that day instead so she'd have an excuse as to why she didn't help out more with the other things.

But then she'd probably mess up with things somehow there, and...

If she hadn't gone for a swim after the Shenanigans yesterday, she would be really needing to go for one after work today.

She might still, actually. If she was by the ocean again, might as well take advantage of it, right?
