In the continuing grand tradition of using her time at work productively -- after a fashion -- Nancy was back on the ol' internet today, in search of ways to try to save her perm from inflating itself further. She was finding she was having way more trouble maintaining it in Maryland's humidity, versus Indiana's -- like, she'd gotten this perm in the summer, you'd think it would be fine.
But mostly what she was finding was that information on the ol' internet regarding perming one' hair, here in the year of our lord 2023, seemed to be pretty sparse. And like, Nancy had kind of noticed no one else in Fandom had hair like hers, sure, but like...she hadn't realized it was so out of fashion she'd have to make do with scanned-in features from a 1987 Elle magazine.
(Wait until she finally noticed what was happening to print media, right?)
