The Magpie Emporium; Friday [07/28].

The only problem with having been inspired by radio to go and pick up some Cheetos for tonight's game session was that...now Graham knew he had Cheetos just sitting there, waiting to be consumed, underneath the counter right now, and he could not stop thinking about them, and maybe if he just had a little bit of them right now, it would be okay? Like, just to tide him over. Just to make sure he hadn't gotten a bad bag, or something. A bit of quality control....

...there would be no Cheetos for the game session tonight.

Sorry about all the Cheeto dust on all the merch now, too, Steph.

Even the most determined of would-be-knights had their weaknesses and battles to still overcome.

Because you'd rather not have all your sweet new merch covered in a faint dusting of fake cheese powder.

Who would have happily have shared the Cheetos with other people if he hadn't pretty much demolished them, entirely unwittingly!

Guillermo had definitely been inspired by his class trip to Naples and this week he had brought over pizza, he had ended up making pepperoni and cheese pizza.

He also had plenty of his normal containers of empanadas and churros, “hi, I’ve brought the snacks for this week,” he smiled shyly as he entered.

And that had Graham's attention almost as soon as Guillermo walked into the door, posture shooting straight immediately like some kind of prairie dog as his eyes widened with excitement.

"Pizza???"

"It's pizza," Guillermo confirmed with a smile, "we went to Naples this week for class, it helped inspire me with trying a couple of pizza recipes for today," he explained.

Which almost escaped being Cheeto-dusted if not for Graham's preparation for the game tonight.

Maybe someone else brought Cheetos? Might want to keep them away from Graham.

Jo ~~finally remembered to ping in~~ had had a large package arrive from home and so as a result and brought along several boxes of sweets and chocolates with her this week, "hello," she smiled warmly as she arrived.

Graham had been indulging in a lot of savory stuff, so the sweets to counterbalance it tonight was definitely welcome!

"Hey, Jo!" he said, greeting her with a wave. "How's it going?"

"It's been going rather well thank you," Jo smiled, "I had extra sweets and chocolates sent from home so I thought I'd bring them tonight," she added, "how have you been Graham?"

Vi had not brought Cheetos. Her chips and dip did have the potential to be almost as messy though.

Still furtively trying to wipe some Cheeto dust off his fingers on the front of his tunic, Graham cleared his throat and leaned in to get started, peering over his now orange-marked notes. "Let's see," he said, "where we last left off, it was clear that no one else was really bothered by, disturbed, or even aware of the antics going on between Wind Over Surf and this persistently little unknown creature terrorizing the camp. Including Madame Geist, who was, it would seem, right in the path of the Tabaxi's next pounce. And it would seem..."

Graham paused a moment, picking out a die, and giving it a toss before he continued, with a nod.

"The pounce does collide with Madame Geist a bit, pushing her forward a little, which in turn pushes her into Esthrana, but! But! Wind has effectively captured the creature, and it did not disappear into a puff of purple smoke again, but into a burst of orange dust..."

Okay, he couldn't help himself there and he chuckled. "Kidding, kidding. You definitely finally got it, Wind, and what you discover in your arms seems to be a small, squirming, rabbit-like thing, with long shaggy ears that stick up from out of its head and a long tail with a tuft of fur at the end, which is whipping around wildly as it squirms and squeaks in protest to such a capture. The squealing is definitely enough to start waking people up, too, so...."

He grinned, casting his eyes around the table once more.

"What would you all like to do now?"

"Now that she's got it, Wind's going to feel pretty pleased with herself for a moment before realising she should probably try calming it down," Vi said after a moment.
