Luke's Diner; Tuesday [08/01].
Ignis was, admittedly....a bit concerned.
He tried not to worry, of course. After all, Gladio was very much his own capable person who did not need someone to fret over him, as naturally inclined as Ignis was to slip into that role, even after all these years. But it wasn't exactly common for him to not come home at night, at least not without mentioning to him that he was planning on camping out, which he was occasionally wont to do. He supposed the evening could have been spent with Nell, but that seemed...unlikely. Though not entirely out of the realm of possibility. Perhaps he'd just forgotten to call. Maybe he'd had a bit of a braindead moment and simply left a note, forgetting that such a gesture would be categorically useless. Possibly, he'd just gone to the mainland for something and it was taking a bit longer than anticipated.
He was trying not to worry, not to fret, and he wasn't doing a terribly good job of it. Not even the distraction of whipping up today's specials in the kitchen was helping, and it certainly didn't help when he finally caved in and tried giving Gladio a call, just to not receive an answer.
But if he was at the gym, he'd be busy with work. So he called the gym, and it really didn't help that they'd mentioned he hadn't come it yet, which was when some of that concern started to turn into frustration and a small huff of irritation that, whatever he was up to, he apparently didn't feel the need to communicate with anyone about it. But that did seem a bit typical of Gladio, at times. There was, after all, reasons the three of them had drifted apart considerably during the Long Night...
So Ignis was trying not to worry, and focus on his own work, and when he was finished at the diner, then perhaps he could pester Prompto or see if he'd told Nell about anything, all the while cooking up a good, spicy lecture about communication once he did get back from whatever he'd been up to.
