When Ignis came in, the kitchen staff was clearly excited to try and throw to him a bit of a pumpkin spice challenge, but, just like some of his fellow staff before him, he was very quick to dismiss and disparage the idea.
"Absolutely not," he said. "Talk to me again next month, perhaps, and we'll reconsider. I'm not even from this planet, and even I know that it should have the decency to wait until at least September."
He figured he'd at least compromise and whip up at least one special that utilized cinnamon at least, but only on the caveat that the PS words not be uttered in his presence until the turning of the next calendar page.
"And remember," he said coolly as he set to work, "I do have excellent hearing."
