The Photo Hut; Monday [08/28].
Slowly, but surely, Prompto was starting to feel more...well, normal didn't seem the right word, he'd never really felt normal in his entire life, but at least more himself, and a weekend of just focusing on his family and his photography had helped with that immensely, especially getting off the island a little bit. He didn't want to say that it had sort of sparked in him that it wouldn't be the worst idea to consider actually making being off the island that had caused so much strife in his life over the years for good, but those feelings were countered pretty effectively by all the good this place had brought into his life, too.
It, like so many other things in his mind lately, was a really complex and complicated thing that started to give him a headache if he thought about it too much, and so he was just glad that he had focused a lot on his photography this weekend, because that meant when he came down to work the shop that Monday, he could just focus on uploading and sorting through all the shots to pick out the best ones to add to the stock portfolio or to promote on the website.
Even if it was a little slow going, with his mind drifting sullenly off to other things every once in a while, or if a picture seemed to tug at something, but he sighed and tried to forge forward all the same.
The Photo Hut is open!

And Liz and Noctra were way more interesting than that (even if they were the subjects of more than a few of them), so his attention shifted over completely toward them, hands immediately going out for a passing of the baby.
"How's your morning going?"

“Our morning hasn’t been too bad, Noctra had a nice nap, I think she was tired from the weekend,” she said fondly, “how did the photos turn out?” she smiled.

But once he managed to get that under control (or was pretty sure he'd just lose control if he kept looking at her), he lifted his gaze to Liz with a shrug. "They're okay," he said, "I guess. I don't know, maybe I'm just too out of practice. I mean, the ones of you and Noctra look great, but that's definitely more the subject matter than the photographer."
Or maybe it was just harder for him to see much good in anything he did lately.
"Hopefully," he said, "I can manage to get some of my photo mojo," a small smile there, a giggle from Noctra recognizing the funny way her dad made words when playing around, "back before classes start up again."
