The atmosphere at the Devil's Nest on this particular Wednesday night was...

Tired.

But not just that:

Tired, and like the whole place seemed to be waiting for something? Even though there was nothing that seemed to be obviously about to happen.

It was slowly starting to drive Octavia a little nuts.

Why yes, most of my day today has been spent on waiting for something and twiddling my thumbs.

And yes, this means tomorrow will probably be hellish since I didn't get to do almost any meaningful prep today to take the pressure off it.
