You know, now that Prompto was running the shelter in Sidon's absence, he had a lot more responsibilities and things to take care of than he had when he just worked here when he was a student. And that was fine, that was almost expected, really, he was a grown-ass adult and that came with responsibilities.

....responsibilities that could also be put on hold, because none of them were so pressing that they could supersede the fact that the pet Halloween costumes had come in, and Prompto was literally going to drop everything (okay, not everything, because he was holding a puppy when the delivery showed up and he was just going to gently set said puppy down, thank you) to start rummaging through it and making so many little sounds of 'awww!" and 'ohmygods!" as he did it that there might have been some actual cuteness overload brain damage here....

Obviously, he was already plotting what to get for Rain, and let's not forget the fact that there was a baby that needed to be subjected to a painfully adorable costume this year, and how in the world was he going to even decide and why was he sitting here already trying to plan costume changes for a child who was not even a year old yet?

He also wondered if it was illegal to start dressing up animals in Halloween costumes if it wasn't even October yet.
