The Photo Hut; Monday [10/09].

Ahhhh, nothing like a nice, calm, relaxing weekend where almost nothing of note or really even interest seemed to have happened! Prompto even managed to make it to a gig on Saturday that went very well, so he was busy working on getting those photos cleaned up and edited to send over to the client, and, when he wasn't doing that, he was furiously looking up ways to make a place safer for crawling babies for about the fiftieth time, because Noctra's little wobbly push-ups were starting to seem like they were ready to evolve into some movement, and he wanted to be ready for when she did actually start crawling around.

He was also looking up advice for how to emotionally and psychologically support pets during this crucial time of development, because once that kid started moving on her own, poor Rain was probably going to know no peace.

And at lunchtime there was a visit from Liz and Noctra, who was gurgling away happily.

“Hi.” she smiled fondly, “are we interrupting?”

"Hi," Prompto said, looking up from his work and grinning at Liz and Noctra a moment before pushing back his chair to make room. "No, not really. Nothing much, anyway, just going over the photos from the job this weekend. How're you guys?" His hands were already going up to offer to take the baby from Liz. "Have a good morning?"

Liz smiled as she carefully handed over Noctra, “how did the photos turn out?” she asked and looked fondly down at Noctra, “we had a very good morning, Noctra ended up sleeping a bit longer I think the weekend tired her out,”

"All those attempts to get up and move around, probably!" Prompto remarked, laughing a little as he lifted Noctra up and down a few times to get those chubby little legs and arms of hers kicking and flailing along with her happy little gurgles, until he pulled her in, gave her a little nuzzle of his nose against hers, a few kisses to make her giggle against her cheek, and then settled her into his arms, despite her squirming for more. Didn't want to get her too riled up and then stick Liz back with her again to deal with the consequences! "We're going to have to really keep an eye on her coming up soon, make sure all the cabinets are impenitrible, no sharp corners for her to bump into, that kind of thing."

A snort of amusement, and he appeased Noctra's burst of excitement with a hand squiggling against her stomach to distract her. "Warn Rain, for sure. But the pictures turned out real good! The lighting was just...." His hand left Noctra's grasp so he could do a little chef's kiss in the air, "...mwah! Perfection!" He returned his hand as Noctra let out a little offended noise and gave her a few bounces in his lap to make up for it. "I think they're gonna like what I was able to get for them."

“Oh I’m glad the photos turned out really well,” Liz smiled fondly as she watched Noctra and Prompto, “and oh definitely we’re going to have to be careful once she starts crawling, I can’t believe how close she’s getting now,”
