Planet Fitness; Tuesday [10/24].
Well, with the way the island had been changing over the last few days, Gladio couldn't say he was surprised to find that Atlas wasn't Atlas and, in fact, had gone through an intense color-coded make-over with rows of treadmills and ellipticals as far as the eye could see. An overhaul in the staff wasn't that surprising, either, considering he had only started to own this place due to a democratic vote, but it did make him a little worried about what had happened with the previous staff.
It was almost as upsetting as what happened to the very minimalized weight lifting area, including a sign on one of the machines that had Gladio grunting in offense. He could lift four plates with his pinkie.
But that grunt lead one of the new TV-headed guys to warn him that if he keeps that up, they were going to pull the Lunk Alarm on him.
"The what Alarm?"
Honestly, they said, he was lucky they didn't pull the Lunk Alarm on him the moment he walked in.
But the absolute worst part of all it? The Cup NoodleTM machine was gone.
"But don't worry," they said, "we're all getting pizza later."

She wasn't sure if Gladio was there or not, but there was no way she was getting caught in that place.

Just wait until they hit her with the Lunk Alarm, anyway, and then we'll see how that tune was about to change.

And that the dude manspreading by the leg machine should be shot into the sun. The very first guy on the treadmill talking on speaker about the big merger would be getting arrested for...something. Aggressive public bullshitting? Was that really against the law? Steve was okay finding out.

At some point, Gladio did manage to spare a glance his way and just shook his head almost helplessly.

Really, what more needed to be said?

But now they seemed to be everywhere and he was concerned and the gym was very purple and there was no noodle machine and he was just kind of staring as he walked in.

"Guess they wanted to follow suit with the rest of the island," he said, "and go in for a little bit of a...change."

His attention shifted over to Stark curiously, though.
"You feeling okay, though? Better? The trip help some?"

Stark should have brought his gun with him, probably.

"They kind of remind me of Nifs back home," he grunted, "only somehow worse. At least with Nifs, you know what you're going to get, but these guys?" He shook his head again. "Don't trust 'em."
no subject
"These don't look like anything I've seen before." But also they did not seem trustworthy.

He lifted a glanced toward one of the TV guys and shook her head.
"Real fucking unsettling."
