Ohdeargodlord Buck was so hungover. He hadn't had that much Fireball since his early 20's. Why did Eddie let him do this? Oh, right. The waffles. The waffles were worth it.

Buck was here, but he was wearing sunglasses at the reception desk and may or may not be asleep.

Eddie, in a pair of sunglasses and looking a little queasy still, came by with some Peet's coffee because the three Starbucks he'd passed by were too busy to order in his hungover state.

He just silently put the coffee down because talking hurt his head.

Buck wasn't actually asleep judging from the grunt he gave in thanks.

He slowly leaned up from his chair to grab the sweet, sweet caffeine. "I wish I was dead."

"I puked outside the Long John Silver's."

You know. The one the island now had.

"Because of the hangover or because it was Long John Silver's?" Buck asked.

"Both?" There was a certain smell to grease and seafood mixed together.

"That makes sense," Buck said, slowly leaning back into his chair. "The waffles were good though."

"And the hashbrowns," Eddie said, slumping into another chair. Because standing up was for suckers.

"Do you think they're just as good sober?" Buck asked.

Could they have avoided this whole thing?

Oh, there was a thought.

"Maybe, but it's not a trip to Waffle House sober."

"Maybe if you're sober you notice how gross everything is," Buck said. Then he let out something between a burp and a hiccup. "Oh god, I can't think about that."

Eddie silently picked up the garbage can to offer over to him. Like a real bro would.

Buck held up a finger. "Hold."

He took a couple of deep breaths and willed the vomit down. "I think I'm good."

"But thank you." Best to keep the trashcan nearby just in case.

Eddie hugged the can to his chest, just in case. "I remember being able to shake off hangovers better than this."

"Me too," he groaned. "What the hell happened?"

You were both over 30, gentlemen.

Nooo, noooo. They were young and fit!

"Maybe it was the Redbull?"

It was the everything.

"I used to drink Four Lokos though." Another moment while he tried not to puke at the thought of Four Lokos. Which ended in a burp.

But no vomit!

That made Eddie look a little green for a moment. "And you're still alive somehow."

"Says the man who was shot." You were never getting off the hook for that one, Eddie.

"This? Is definitely worse," Eddie joked. Because you could just joke about it and definitely not have a weird meltdown, right?

Totally! Just like how Buck joked about getting crushed by a firetruck and everything was just fine.

Just. Fine. Didn't have a breakdown and sue the city of Los Angeles at all.

"Well you didn't puke in front of a Long John Silver's when you were shot so you might have a point."
