The Cheesecake Factory - Wednesday Evening
So something was definitely happening with Fandom and it seemed that it was going to be going on for longer than a few days because once she had tried to make a reservation for Cafe Fina for Prompto’s birthday, she had been redirected to the Cheesecake Factory instead.
It had been a weird couple of days, on top of finding out that the Photo Hut had turned into a Staples as well.
She still wanted to celebrate Prompto’s birthday and Noctra was being looked after for the evening, so her and Prompto could enjoy his birthday.
“I don’t know what happened to Cafe Fina,” she said apologetically as they arrived, “I hope the Cheesecake Factory will be alright?”
[for the Husband!]

He may also be mildly confused about the restaurant's concept.
But the thing that mattered was that it was his birthday, and his wife wanted to take him out to eat, and his besties were babysitting so they even had some time to themselves for at least a few hours, so he was leaning in to give Liz a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks for coming out with me tonight."

"And I'm sure there'll be quite a lot of cheesecakes to choose from," she tried to think on something positive to focus on and not the fact that their go to restaurant had seemingly disappeared along with a lot of other buildings.
Someone had not actually been to a Cheesecake Factory before either.

Doubtful! But it would be a pretty great birthday surprise. A guy could dream, right?

But none of them really felt great, and he might actually have some mixed feelings about Eosian stuff starting to leak in through it all.

That one she still couldn't wrap her head around.

Said the guy working for Turtle & Canary, and it was not the shelter he worked for, too, actually. But that was different! That was a history!
Well, and technically, T&C was now something called a Whole Foods? But that did make sense.
"And has nothing to do with photography. And what did happen to all our stock?"
Great, now he was hyperfixating on the logistics again and getting a little irritated about it.
"That stuff's not cheap, and, what? Now it's all just gone? And we have...copy paper and office supplies as far as the eye can see now?"

She paused, “do you think this will permanent?” it was Fandom after all, you never knew how these things tended to go.

"I really, really hope not," he said, now opening the menu up. "I hope it's just one of those things that'll be over by next week, like, there was one summer where the island kept moving around to a bunch of different places, most of them horrible, but it did go back once it realized it sucked, so....hopefully....that's what's going on..."
He blinked, his attention now shifted to the menu, and he flipped through it a little.
"There are...not nearly as many cheesecakes on this menu as I was lead to believe," he noted.
But....wow. This was...this wasn't a menu, it was practically a novel.

She shifted her attention to he menu as well, “there’s a lot of different options here,” she blinked a bit, “what were you thinking of having!” she asked as she looked over at Prompto.

Choice paralysis was a thing, people!!

There really were so many choices.
