Octavia's Birthday Party?, Hooters, Wednesday Evening

Octavia had been very adamant yesterday that Lucifer was not allowed to burn down the Devil's Nest, no matter how it may have looked like right now.

But she had to admit it was very different right now, when she walked in for whatever her shift was going to be like, and was faced with an onslaught of orange, sports on screen, and a lot more staff than she was used to (and in much skimpier clothing than she was used to - on Tiny, at least).

And that was before she saw the banner hanging over the bar, just as bright and garish as everything else:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OCTAVIA!!!

Octavia stared up at it.

"... I think that was two weeks ago."

The bar didn't care. Some of the waitresses had just spotted her, and now there some excited squealing with the gist of 'eeee the birthday girl is here!!' And no, they weren't going to care about such minor details as said birthday having been two weeks ago or no one having actually asked for this party, either.

[ooc: Random party is OPEN, of course.]

He was doing his best!

"Yeah, we were thinking we could use some Chile time soon," Duke agreed. "Nothing but sun, surf, nudity, and each other."

"Sounds like exactly what we need," Duke said, reaching for her hand to give it a squeeze.

“I mean. . . . Yeah. You know I love a change of scenery.”

Sometimes it was hard to look outside his own experience.

"Yup. This time tomorrow, maybe I'll be skinny dipping."
