The Photo Hut; Monday [10/30].

As tempting as it was to go through the entire store and comb out any hint of an office supply therein, Prompto had to remind himself that they actually did need some office supplies to run their business, and so just as long as it wasn't being sold en masse, it should be fine, and he was reassured that the Photo Hut was back to the Photo Hut again, the creepy TV guys that made his skin crawl even worse than the stormtroopers did were gone, and things were back to normal on the island again.

As normal as the island could be, anyway, and, in fact, Broken Camera guy had come in that morning with another broken camera, so even that felt like everything was settling back into place, and Prompto was in a pretty great mood because everyone was safe, he'd gotten to do a good old fashioned Bust-a-Base with the boys, and now he'd also scored enough diapers to last them....well, maybe a few weeks, probably a month or so, but, hey! Every little bit counted!

And now to play a little detective as well as camera repair guy because trying to figure out what in the world this guy was doing to his cameras was half the fun, really.

The Photo Hut is open!

Even though the unexpected trip home had been nice, Liz had been glad to get back to Fandom and find that the Photo Hut was back to its original store.

She came downstairs around lunchtime with Noctra, “hi are we interrupting?”

Prompto blinked up from where he was bent over his camera-repair-in-progress at the counter at the sound of Liz's voice, then blinked up at the clock, and...

"Oh, shi--" He stopped, corrected, "Shoot! I was trying to get this done before you guys made it down. Guess I just lost track of time...but that's fine."

He pushed back his chair and cut over to where they were, reaching out for Noctra's hands. "We'll just have to keep these grabby little fingers away from the mess!"

He grinned at her eager response to getting to clutched onto his finger and then turned that grin toward Liz and quickly stole a little kiss. "Hi," he said. "Broken Camera Guy's back."

Noctra gurgled happily at that as Prompto's hands reached hers and she tried to grab them.

Liz smiled at the kiss and then blinked a bit at the last bit, "again? How does he keep managing to break his cameras?"

"I don't even know, babe," Prompto admitted, with a slight chuckle, and then held out his hands to offer to take Noctra since it looked like just his hands weren't good enough now and she wanted to hold onto more of him. "At this point? We're probably better off not even knowing, but, hey, you know what? It's somewhat steady business, so I'll gladly take it. We might have gotten a nice windfall from that Walmart Bust-a-Base," yes, he was absolutely going to insist on calling that, he did not care what the other guys said!, "but that's no reason to just take it easy, you know?"

Liz smiled and carefully handed over Noctra, “that’s true, it’s nice to have at least one returning customer right?, Oh speaking of business, Liliana left a message about us taking photos at her Halloween party for a few hours tomorrow evening,” she explained, “what did you think about that?”

"Like, professionally?" asked Prompto, eyebrows lifting and managing to duck his head back a little to avoid getting his ear squeezed by an inquiring little hand. "Really? That's...that actually sounds like it'd be a great idea."

Liz smiled fondly as she watched Noctra and then nodded up at Prompto, "she did say she wanted to engage our services," she explained, "I haven't replied yet but that was what I was thinking as well, it might be a good chance for some new business as well,"

"Good way to maybe get people thinking about hiring us out for other events, maybe," Prompto agreed with a little smirk. "You wanna take it on? I can stay home and watch the nugget? Especially since I'm pretty sure both Iggy and Gladio are gonna want to go."

Well, Iggy for sure, all things considered. Heh.

Liz smiled at that, "I can definitely go over for a few hours and take some photos," she said, "if you're sure you don't mind staying home," she added.

"Yeah, no," Prompto assured her, bouncing Noctra a little as he gave Liz a soft, distant kind of smile. "I'm definitely good. I'm sure it's fine, but, you know, going into unfamiliar houses in the woods doesn't really have a whole lot of...appeal for me right now..."

Liz nodded, understanding as she leaned in to give him a hug, being careful of Noctra as she did, "I won't stay too long," she promised, "I'll stay for the few hours and then I'll be right back,"

"No, no, no," Prompto chuckled a little, leaning in to kiss the top of her head as Liz leaned in, "take your time, go have some fun. We don't get out much anymore, you should make the most out of it."

Liz smiled as she leaned in, "alright," she looked up at him with a grin, "I'll make sure to take lots of photos though," she promised.
