Atlas Gym; Tuesday [10/31].
Atlas, like many other places around town, was thankfully back to its much less purple and treadmill-filled self again, although the staff were debating about bringing back the Lunk Alarm, but only to be used whenever Gladio walked through the door, which....Gladio supported, really, because that was kind of funny, and as long as it didn't mean he was restricted to four weights on each side, he was more than fine with it.
And while it wasn't pizza, he was a little skeptical about the bowl of candy for the taking on the reception desk when he came in, until he saw what the candy was and he had to laugh, because that, too, was fair.
He had his own to add to the bowl later on in the day, too, while also spending a good deal of time checking his phone, just in case any updated on how that whole 'having the babies' thing might be going for Annie right now. He'd like to think, all things considered, the news of it happening would trickle down to him through one channel or anything if it did.
Atlas is open!

Atlas is open!

Not right away, at least.
Instead, he was getting the standard chin lift bro greeting.
"Stark. How's it goin'?"

Okay, no, the near shirtlessness was the appeal; surely, Stark could understand that, right?
"Kinda looking forward to it, actually."
And not even just to get a glimpse at the place Ignis had been spending all of his time at recently!
"What about you?"
He could definitely understand why 'Halloween party at the house of the person who tried to drain all the life out of me were it not for big buff guys to intervene' might not be high on Stark's list of things to do tonight.

And of course he could understand the appeal of Gladio's bare chest. He had one eye; he wasn't blind.
"We talked. Liliana and I. About...what happened."
He was reasonably certain Liliana wouldn't try to use him as a battery again. Reasonably.

His head tilted thoughtfully, maybe a little worriedly, at Stark.
"Everything go okay?"
no subject
"I think so? She thought I was trying to kill her," he said, looking down. "I wasn't. I wouldn't!"
no subject
"By the look of her," he murmured, "she was practically dead already...."
He then shook his head. "How do you feel about how everything turned out?"
no subject
"I...I'm not certain. She seemed to believe me that I was trying to help because I thought she was too far gone. I don't think she's going to do me any harm on purpose. But...I'm not sure I'd want to be alone with her all the same."

And, of course, her eyes searched immediately for Gladio.

"Hey," he greeted Nell with a grin once he spotted her coming in. "Morning."

She adored him and he always challenged her assumptions and made her laugh. How in the world had she gotten so lucky?

Gladio was just realizing that Nell had completely missed out on the Lunk Alarm and now he was very interested to hear what her thoughts on it might be.
