One of Rosa's sisters seemed to have figured out that she was ignoring any family emails that got sent to her personal email address, which meant that now she was sending things to the work address, and while she was very annoyed and irritated by that, she had to admit, that was a pretty smart move.

Unfortunately, that also reminded her that the holidays were coming up, because her sister had sent a little novel breaking down all the plans for Diaz clan this year, and it immediately had Rosa on her computer googling 'good places on the other side of the world to disappear for the next two months'.

Her sister's email had included the word Tofurkey. Rosa disappearing was doing them all a favor, really.

Was Tofurkey email helped by coffee and tight pants? Because here came Tightpants with coffee.

Said coffee may have smelled suspiciously like pumpkin spices, but it was black! Look, it was that time of the year, okay?

That suspicious aroma definitely meant the effect of the coffee and tight pants was still considerably TBD.

"Please tell me that smell is because you got in a fight with a pie," she announced.

Look, she was no Ignis Scientia, but it was that time of year. She was on high flavored-coffee alert.

"At least I won," Miguel answered, deadpan. "No sugar or anything, and it's still double-strength," he promised, setting a cup down in front of her. It really only had a mild spiciness to it.
