Steve was in the office as usual, concentrating very hard on his paperwork and ignoring how his phone was threatening to vibrate off of the desk. The news of his and Danny's engagement (in a very them sort of way) had clearly hit Danny's extended family and judging by how hard his phone was vibrating, most of the Fifth Fleet as well. (His SEAL buddies were huge gossips.) He wasn't sure why everyone was considering this news, really. He and Danny had been basically married before they'd even started officially dating.

But he'd deal with the messages later, in any case. Steve was working and all of the messages would have to wait. And if he occasionally looked down at the new anchor tattoo on the inner part of his left ring finger, well. Shut up.

The station was open! And very professional.

Thanks! It was a totally spur of the minute thing. Got drunk with some SEAL buddies, ended up at a tattoo shop, Danny decided why not get something permanent.

If Annie ever expected him to get another tattoo, however, she was SOL. He had to rewrite the universe just to get rid of the first one.

I will if he ever gets off the phone with his sisters. He's telling a story that doesn't involve us being drunk and with SEALs but you get the real facts. How are the kids? Learning calculus yet?

They have opposite sleep schedules and Maggie loves pooping when I hold her.
