Dite's Decadent Delights | Wednesday
Irene had added to her window display's cornucopia with another offering -- a predictable, perhaps, choice, and not one that generally evoked Thanksgiving in her experience -- and settled down behind the counter with her mobile and too many thoughts in her head. Which, honestly, was kind of just a normal day for Irene, but these were emotional thoughts, which was trickier (and stupid, generally.)
But eventually, those tricky, emotional thoughts led her to perusing holiday listings, since getting out of town during the major holidays usually improved the melancholy she couldn't shake around Christmas. But the bit that was poking, persistently, at her, was resolved a bit when she shifted her destination from tropical, airy places where they'd wish her a Happy Christmas and then offer her another frozen drink, to destinations like Edinburgh, and Cardiff.
Maybe something closer to home was finally in order? Or maybe it would just make her sadder. Don't close the tab on Aruba yet, now.
[open! also that's an eggplant dildo at the link, use your common sense!]

"Liliana!" Irene rose from her seat behind the counter, grinning in delight. "How lovely of you to come by! Welcome to Dite's, and really, if you find your gardens back home were lacking, it sounds as though only in inspiration. Easily remedied."
Irene prided herself mostly on helping people find inspiration in the ordinary.

Case in point. All attention was good attention!

"I'm hoping that as time passes, the cornucopia just gets more and more full of items until there's an entire harvesttide meal," Liliana admitted with a grin.
