Plant Parenthood; Thursday [11/09].
What an absolute surprise to absolutely no one who knew her well (which, admittedly, wasn't really anyone, but still...), but Eleanor found herself in a T.S. Eliot mood, and was specifically diving into The Waste Land, after making herself some tea, taking care of a few things around the shop, and then settling in behind the counter with her book.
"A current under sea
Picked his bones in whispers.
As he rose and fell
He passed the stages of his age and youth
Entering the whirlpool."
Perhaps it was a bit odd, that a poem titled "Death by Water" should make her feel wistful and remind her to try and squeeze in a good swim before the weather became too cold for her to do so, but there they were, anyway.
Plant Parenthood is open!
