The Photo Hut - Thursday
Even though Noctra seemed to be doing better than she had been the other day, Liz had been rather reluctant to head downstairs at first but since next week was Thanksgiving, she thought finishing up what work she had left before the holidays probably wasn’t a bad idea.
She didn’t have much work left, thanks to Prompto doing some work on the reports for her so she decided to only work for a few hours that morning before she headed back up stairs.

She looked around at all the pictures and frames in the shop, smiling slightly. "Anyway, I thought I'd come by and see if you'd had a chance to do...whatever needs doing...for the pictures from Halloween?"
Look, Liliana understood that Liz had taken pictures with one device and somehow they would become pictures on a wall. The interim steps remained ??? however.

"...Digital?" Liliana asked. "And how does one print?"

sortabefore she'd learned about phones from Ignis, the topic of computers still had yet to be broached and, honestly? She was fine with that. "So this little card can put all of these pictures--" she gestured to the package "--onto my phone and if I want more I can come to you and ask?"no subject

She opened up the package and started to flip through the pictures. "These are lovely," she said. "And so beautifully realistic. I've never seen pictures this clear."
She was used to paintings and the occasional picture sent to her from Ignis. None of them were like this.

She glanced up. "Has Prompto seen these, as well?"

"Three, I suppose, counting the baby."

"Babies do complicate things," Liliana said with the vagueness of a woman who had no intention of ever being a mother discussing the effect of children on a life. "Perhaps when she's a bit older it will get easier again."
That made sense, right?

"Babe?" he asked, at first with a wave of relief that it was just Liz, and then with a swell of worry that it was Liz, "everything okay?"

He gave her a quick kiss as a beep from the oven sounded to cut him off and he quickly hurried over to pull the garlic bread that was going with it from the oven before it burned...only to then have to quickly toss that down as the pot of pasta started to threaten to boil over and he had to take care of that before it turned quickly into a disaster.
But he managed to salvage it all with a sheepish, almost nervous chuckle. "I swear, it's not usually this chaotic!"
Oh, but it really, really was, it was just far less obvious with an audience that consisted of a cat and a baby.

She watched fondly, “broccoli mac’n’cheese sounds wonderful,” she smiled, “is there anything I can do to help?”

He snorted, making a face, and then laughed.
"She didn't get that one from me!"
