Maaan, Prompto had started to get used to Apu being needlessly rude and mean to him by now, but when he'd barely gotten through the door and the man was already telling him to go take a hike? That was just beyond the pale, and he wasn't going to stand for it any more!

"....ohhhhhhhh," Prompto said, blinking a little bit at the display, red starting to creep up on his face not from anger but from embarrassment now. "I...see. Because it's....you know what, never mind, I'm just going to log into the register and pretend this exchange never happened."
