The Park, Friday afternoon
The mistletoe didn't quite know what to do with Beaker, but that was all right because Beaker had plenty of ideas for semi-sentient mistletoe.
So far he'd kissed--and made notes because science--squirrels, raccoons, one of the Caritas zombies (bad idea), a gremlin (worse idea) and a teal deer (they were meeting up for coffee next week).
And now he was kind of stalking Sam Eagle. For more science! But mostly for the hilarity. They'd hear the yelling all the way back at the Muppet Theater.
[OOC: Expecting one but open if you would like to kiss a felt Muppet for science.]

Even if he did think he kept hearing faint meeps.
He was taking his daily constitutional through the park unaware of the proximity of either Beaker or any unwanted greenery.

(Glasses and a fake nose as required by the Law of Funny.)
He was getting closer, though, even if Sam hadn't noticed yet.

"Are you birds meeping?" Sam demanded of the local wildlife. "You must desist at once!"

fingerwingtip in Beaker's direction."You! What is the meaning of this?"

Sam did not know about the mistletoe. Oh dear. He was completely unaware.

"How dare you," he said, glaring at the tree as he tried to flap his way out of the greenery.

He didn't even notice that he was hopping towards Beaker as he flapped.

He was pretty sure it wasn't his fault?

"WHy isn't there any of this plant life on you?"
Sam, no, don't put that thought out there!

"Beaker, explain yourself! Vines, explain yourselves!"

Had one of the vines just quietly muttered "I am serious and don't call me Shirley"?
"That is out of the question!"
Or was it? Sam was no longer able to flap as the vines were holding him much tighter now.

He was quite thoroughly entangled now and could do no more than take tiny ineffective hops.

Beaker could neither confirm nor deny, Sam!
But he could kiss you, which is what he was attempting right now.

"How dare you!" he sputtered even as the greenery fell away in the aftermath of this smoochy assault.
