Rey's warehouse- Saturday afternoon

Yesterday had been a big no on training, so it was rescheduled for today.

And maybe Rey would get to actually do it, except she'd had to get creeping garland off things like storage lockers and woodchucks and maybe today's lesson would be more in handling serious annoyance than anything else. Welcome to Fandom in December.

"Stop that," Anakin scolded the garland currently trying to choke him from inside his hood.

"Rey?"

"Yeah," she sighed, shooing a woodchuck away from the offending garland. "This is one of the bad days."

"Not as bad as the hats," said Anakin, whose life was bizarre.

Rey just had to look at him for that, then gestured to the garland mess on the floor and the woodchuck scurrying off.

"The hats ruined my hair," Anakin protested.

"The garlands could too," she pointed out.

"I feel like I can negotiate more with the garland," said poor, delusional Anakin.

"May the Force be with you," she said.

"Obi-Wan got the credit, but I was a pretty good negotiator, too," Anakin said.

Mmmm. Not really.

"Have you ever had to negotiate something with Fandom weirdness before?" Rey wondered.

"Yes," Anakin said. "Sometimes it ever works!"

But not usually.

"Sometimes," she repeated.

Because Obi-wan was The Negotiator.

"Look, not everyone can be Obi-Wan Kenobi, okay?" Anakin said, shaking off the garland crawling up his leg.

Rey nodded, letting that go. Mostly. "It wouldn't be terrible if you negotiated them off the course."

"I'll see what I can do," Anakin said.

It was going to involve yelling "MOVE" and then using the Force.

"I started trying to clear it and then I had to help the woodchucks," she said.

"Were they getting tied up?" Anakin asked.

"Very much so," she said, looking to see if they'd stuck around or high tailed it out of there. "I don't think this is their best day."

"I think I'm glad not to know what they were up to yesterday."

"I refuse to think about that," she said with the speed of someone who'd had a horrified moment of thinking about that.

"Probably for the best," Anakin agreed.

"Sometimes denial is good."

She would know!

"See? You are a Skywalker!" Anakin teased.
