JGoB, Thursday afternoon
"I'd like donuts that haven't been sat on," Stark said as he walked in to the bakery. "Or something else if you have recommendations?"
He was thoroughly amused by the idea of a giant donut but he had no desire to take a bite of one. It just seemed unwise.
"We went a different direction," the baker called out from the back. "No donuts. Got some great pop-tart type things though. Been working on those and I've finally got the dough right. And some of'em have jelly filling. You should try the strawberry. And the brown sugar one."
That seemed like a very reasonable thing to do to Stark so he was soon seated by the window with his not-pop-tarts.
[my favorite bakery makes these and they are amazing and also I have very very long day today so this post is very very open!]
