The Photo Hut; Monday [12/18].

Prompto was starting to get a little antsy, about Christmas just being a week from now, thinking about how it had been a nice weekend to just enjoy stuff, but now was really crunch time in getting everything ready for his presents, for getting ready for the assumed trip out to the BPRD, because it just didn't feel right to celebrate it anywhere else, and then just getting things situated with taking some time off for that, and then getting ready for the new year and his new class, and then there was his and Liz's anniversary, and then Noctra's birthday (and Iggy's right before it, too!), which was also Valentine's Day, and then after that....

....after that, things should maybe calm down a little bit, but looking ahead at the busy months still ahead of him definitely didn't help Prompto feel less antsy.

If anything, it made him more antsy!

Which meant he was going to be crap for work today, so...well...hopefully Liz wouldn't mind all the shelves being rearranged, because that's what was happening today!

The Photo Hut is open!

Around lunchtime there was a visit from Luz and Noctra, “hi are we interrupting?” she asked and then she noticed the shelves had been rearranged, “oh the shelves look great,”

"Hi," said Prompto, chuckling a little nervously and rubbing his neck as he glanced over from the cameras that had been arranged not once, not twice, but three times until they were in their current configuration, which was being stacked in a pyramid that was meant to sort of recall a Christmas tree. "You, uh, think so? I kind of....wanted to change things up a little in here today, I guess."

Liz smiled as she carried Noctra over, "I love the display," she told him as she looked at the cameras, "it looks very Christmassy," she said as Noctra cooed in agreement.

"I think now that we're in the home stretch," said Prompto, with a grin over at Liz and a bop of his finger on Noctra's nose, "everything's going to be looking pretty Christmassy. Pretty sure the walls are gingerbread today. I thought about licking them to confirm, but, nah, man, I'm not that curious. Plus, Noctra's really big on the whole imitation thing right now, I wouldn't want to give her any ideas."

“I had wondered about that,” Liz admitted, “I noticed Rain seemed especially interested in the walls today, at least more interested than usual,” she smiled, as Noctra giggled at the nose bop, “and that’s probably something we need to try and avoid with Noctra licking the walls, even if they do taste rather good right now,” Liz smiled fondly down at Noctra.

"That'll be an interesting conversation when we get there," Prompto said with a chuckle, before adopting a little bit of a voice that was apparently supposed to be older him, "'Now, Noctra, just remember, sometimes things into things you can eat, but not always...'"

Liz giggled at that and then Noctra started giggling as well, "I don't think that's a conversation most people expect to have with their children," she smiled fondly, "she's definitely had a unique lead up to Christmas,"

A hooded and cloaked figure crept by the Photo Hut, the nose of the plague doctor mask making a noise as it slid over the glass.

Luuuuuurking.
