Luke's Diner; Tuesday [12/19].
Ignis did not know exactly what was up with the fact that the island seemed as insistent that he be wearing some odd, shapeless robe today as it was with those hats earlier in the month, which was particularly annoying as someone who cherished a certain economy of moment that felt like such loose-fitting garments rather made difficult. That, coupled with a certain inherent coziness to the....well, glorified blanket, really, he could hardly call it clothing, influenced his menu today in a very significant way, as well.
Perhaps he should have just set it on fire earlier that day when he stopped by the forgeoh so handwavily because lazy + time before his shift that day to run some final tests on the gift he'd had Amaya put together for him. But he knew from attempt to remove the thing earlier that burning it would very likely not do anything at all, although there might have been a certain catharsis in it.
Mmmm. Maybe later, though...

Probably not.
When Liliana lounged, she preferred silky and diaphanous, not a onesie. And neither were to be worn outside, where she could be seen by other people.

This benefit was probably slightly diminished when those texts were voice, however.
Ignis himself didn't usually make the deliveries himself, but, clearly, an exception might need to be made, in this instance.

It was a very sulky yes.
Followed immediately by,
No, she didn't care if you could hear her, Greg, it was true and also someone probably should have told you this earlier.
Obviously she wanted Ignis to bring her lunch, but he often had ridiculous ideas about responsibility and obligations that meant that she couldn't be certain she'd get him.
Woe.

The assurance came with the clatter in the background that would suggest that Ignis was now back in the kitchen.

Look, she was really hungry, okay? And losing a fight to a blanket was just ridiculous. Why couldn't they have more delicious candy today instead?
And we were all just going to ignore how Liliana would absolutely tell a painter, a composer, or Ignis how to best apply their artwork if she really wanted to.

Yes, even against a snuggie. But again, she'd let you sort out those details.

Almost like Ignis planned meals out enough to make sure that there would be leftovers for gremlin necromancers to scavenge when they were hungry, as opposed to 'sugar' or 'nothing.'

This was what happened when you didn't share important parts of your personal history, Ignis. Tsk.
Oh the pouting, Ignis. Just...so much pouting.

Which meant, in due time, the door to the apartment would be opening, and Ignis arrived, bearing a saffron seafood soup, and, of course, dessert.
"Liliana? Lunch is ready."

Ignis was very well aware of Liliana's usual gait - which moved between a quiet prowl, an arrogant stride, and a seductive saunter, depending on mood - and yet what he heard was none of the above.
Shuffle shuffle. Shuffle shuffle.
"This day is absolutely insupportable, Liliana announced as she shuffled her way from his bedroom to the door. "I did not ruin your kitchen shears trying to get this off of me and you're welcome."
Because he had fabric scissors instead. Those she had made free use of until it became obvious that the island wasn't going to run out of snuggies before she ran out of patience.
But complaining aside, she couldn't help but smile a bit as he made his way inside and the door closed behind him. Once he did, she was delivering the world's coziest grumpy kiss. Or possibly grumpiest cozy kiss? One of those.
"Thank you for lunch, my darling."

It was a little harder to lurk, watch, and creeper when the hood of one's Snuggie had antlers on it and those were sticking up a ways, but the lurker was working with limitations here.
