Eleanor still wasn't quite sure what she was going to do for the holiday break; of course, her mother had said she would love to see her, but Luma's response had been pretty cold and dismissive still, and, obviously, Rhys hadn't had anything to say on the matter. And while she was used to staying at school for breaks, it seemed to hurt just a little more this year, after everything that had happened. But, after everything that had happened, it seemed like the better option more than ever.

But considering what this place was like all throughout December, at least Eleanor felt that she'd have an enjoyable, if somewhat lonely, time here. And she was used to the latter part, so the addition of the former would be kind of nice.

In the meantime, maybe she'd just read through a few of the Christmas classics again, and enjoy some peppermint tea.
